Martha Anderson Veterans Memorial Park

Located in the heart of downtown Springfield, Martha Anderson Veterans Memorial Park is a special place dedicated to honoring the men and women who have served our country.

In 2023, improvements to the park were completed through the efforts of the Martha Anderson Veterans Memorial Park Committee, in consultation with American Legion Post #257.  The project included the installation of new memorial monuments designed to honor local veterans and provide space for additional names to be added for years to come.  American Legion Post #257 generously contributed $40,000 toward the park improvements.

Veterans' names may still be added to the memorial.  Engraving order forms is available below or at Springfield City Hall, and the cost is $300 per name block.
