The Springfield Public Utilities has completed and submitted the service line materials inventory to the Minnesota Department of Health. The service line inventory is publicly available, and you can check the materials for your service line by visiting the Lead Inventory Tracking Tool (LITT).
You may also contact us at 507-723-3519. To complete the service line inventory, our system used old water tap records and new water meter installation records. As of 07/23/2024, our inventory contains 3 lead, 41 galvanized requiring replacement, 2 unknown material, and 945 non-lead service lines.
